How long does it take to re-build indexes on your Author?

It just took 1 whole week to re-build the indexes on our live Author!!! Incredible.

  1. Sensei, could you offer a bit more about the scenario, such as: how large was the repository in terms of disk size or # of nodes (in GB's?); what kind of disk is the Author running on (speed, local disk or SAN or NAS?); and what version of CQ?

Also, are there many, many large binary files involved - such as PDFs?
    Anything else to mention?

    Thanks!

  5. Rebuilding indexes on your author, or any database in general, is a critical task for ensuring efficient data retrieval and optimal performance. Similarly, just as database maintenance requires time and attention, so too does mastering complex subjects like economics. For students who may find it challenging to keep up with coursework, online economics class help services can be a valuable resource. These services can assist with understanding difficult concepts, improving study strategies, and even offering support during critical periods like exams.
